DESCRIPTION:The District Assembly is our next step in the journey of traini
 ng incoming club leaders for the upcoming Rotary year 2022-23\, including 
 the Grant Qualification Seminar\, which is open to all club members.  Thi
 s year we will be in-person again and will be meeting at the Four Points S
 heraton in Wakefield on Wednesday\, April 27.  For the Grant Qualificatio
 n Seminar we recommend that each club send at least two members to attend 
 - but there is no limit. If your club grant committee includes multiple me
 mbers\, it would be ideal if they could all attend and get qualified. The 
 District Assembly is open to all Rotarians in our district! The evening wi
 ll begin at 6:00 PM with five parallel tracks for: Presidents-Elect Secret
 aries Treasurers Foundation Chairs A fireside chat with DG Terry Curran (f
 or all Rotarians who don't fall into any of the above four roles)  At 7:00
  PM we will be serving a soup & sandwich buffet and continue the evening w
 ith a working dinner meeting for all groups together. In that joint sessio
 n we will conduct our District Qualification Seminar for next years Distri
 ct Managed Grants and Global Grants.  Everyone who is present will get cr
 edit for attending the qualification and those clubs with at least 2 membe
 rs will get the memorandum of understanding sent out to them for electroni
 c signatures.  The final session for the evening will be the district bud
 get.  District Governor Elect Alexander Falk\, District Treasurer Arthur 
 Schwartz\, and District Finance Committee Chair PDG Peter Simonsen will ta
 ke us through next year's budget.  Please note that a quorum of President
 s Elect needs to be present to approve the budget.  Please register on th
 e left side to attend the District Assembly. Cost for the dinner (soup & s
 andwich) is $35\, which we ask you to please pay by credit card at the tim
 e of registration. There will also be a cash bar available.
