DESCRIPTION:The District Assembly is our next step in the journey of traini
 ng incoming club leaders for the upcoming Rotary year 2023-24\, including 
 the Grant Qualification Seminar\, which is open to all club members.  Thi
 s year we will be in-person again and will be meeting at the Four Points S
 heraton in Wakefield on Wednesday\, April 12.  For the Grant Qualificatio
 n Seminar we recommend that each club send at least two members to attend 
 - but there is no limit. If your club grant committee includes multiple me
 mbers\, it would be ideal if they could all attend and get qualified. The 
 District Assembly is open to all Rotarians in our district! The evening wi
 ll begin at 5:30PM with five parallel tracks for: Presidents-Elect (post P
 ETS) AGs Secretaries Membership and PI Chairs Foundation Chairs  At 6:30PM
  we will be serving wraps\, chips\, soup and dessert and continue the even
 ing with a working dinner meeting for all groups together. In that joint s
 ession we will conduct our District Qualification Seminar for next years D
 istrict Managed Grants and Global Grants.  Everyone who is present will g
 et credit for attending the qualification and those clubs with at least 2 
 members will get the memorandum of understanding sent out to them for elec
 tronic signatures.  The final session for the evening will be the distric
 t budget.  District Governor Elect Lori Karas and District Treasurer Arth
 ur Schwartz will take us through next year's budget.  Please note that a 
 quorum of Presidents Elect needs to be present to approve the budget. Cost
  for the dinner (soup & wrap) is $35\, which we ask you to please pay by c
 redit card at the time of registration. There will also be a cash bar avai
