Thursday, November 11 will be our annual Rotary Foundation event “A Celebration of Our Heroes” starting at 5:30 PM at the Danversport. The evening will include a social hour, silent auction, dinner, and Paul Harris Fellowship (PHF) presentations.

All Rotary Club have been invited to nominate a hero from their community to present them with a PHF recognition at the event. Candidates could be doctors, nurses, teachers, crossing guards, emergency services personnel, veterans, or anyone else whom the Rotary Club believes to be a community hero. The online nomination form has been sent to Club Presidents earlier this summer, and the nomination deadline is October 11th.

We would also like to ask all Rotary Clubs to start thinking about silent auction items: we would ideally like to see items with a minimum value of $100, so that people will be eager to bid high! All monies raised in the silent auction will directly go to The Rotary Foundation! Details about how to submit the silent auction items will be announced in September.

Program Book Ads can now be purchased

There will be a program book for the event that will contain the photo and bio for each hero as well as ads from event sponsors and local businesses to help reduce the cost of the event and to support our foundation fund-raising efforts. Sponsorship and program book ad details are now available, and we hope that many of you who run businesses in our communities will consider putting in an ad for your business to help support this event. Please click on the Read More button (or see further below, if you are already on the detailed article page) to learn about sponsorship and ad options.

Program book ads are now available for purchase and can directly be booked online using the links below! Once you have made the ad purchase online, please send all creative materials to David Deutsch via email. Artwork materials should ideally be submitted as vector graphics (Adobe Illustrator AI, EPS, PDF, or similar).

The deadline for purchasing ads, sponsorships, and submitting artwork is Monday, October 25th. But please don't wait for the last moment - the sooner you can book your ads and submit your artwork materials, the better.

Program book ads are available in the following sizes:
There are also three premium cover page ad options available in the following positions:
In addition, we offer three major sponsorship options for those, who would like to support the event at a higher level and have their business stand out even more:
Sponsorships include the following benefits:
  • Acknowledgment in the program book on a separate page listing all sponsors by level
  • Acknowledgment on the district website
  • Acknowledgment in a PowerPoint presentation during the Foundation Dinner event
  • Full Page Ad in the Program Book (premium positions may be awarded for higher tier sponsorships based on availability of those positions at the time of your order)
  • Logo on the top margin of several inside pages in the program book (see the four example logos on top of the page with the business card ads below)
All monies raised via sponsorships and ads go to offset event costs first, and will, therefore, allow us to make the dinner pricing more affordable for Rotarians, and secondly will go to support other important district activities. Any excess funds will then be donated to the Rotary Foundation.
