After learning that the traditional district-wide Polar Plunge event to raise money for the End Polio Now campaign was canceled for 2021 because of COVID-19, the Rotary Club of Arlington decided to organize its own event. The result is the Polar Dunk, which will take place on Saturday, March 13th. Volunteers from the club will be plunged, one by one, into a carefully-scrubbed carnival-grade dunk tank filled with chilly water.
