Arlington Rotary announces Flags for Heroes 2024.  Community members have the opportunity to sponsor a flag in memory or honor of the men and women who are serving or have served as members of the Military, Police Officers, Firefighters, First Responders, Parents, Teachers, Coaches, Mentors, Community Leaders, and fly for all the people who have made a difference in their lives.

Arlington Rotary has dedicated this year's installation in memory of George Reynolds Jr., longtime Arlington resident and Rotary member for 62 years who died this year.

Flags for Heroes is a way to honor people who are your heroes. They may be men and women who are serving or have served as members of the military, first responders, parents, teachers, coaches, mentors, community leaders or other heroes. You may sponsor as many heroes as you want, and a flag with the name of your heroes will be flown at Park Circle Water Tower on Park Ave in Arlington.

Your donation of $40 will go directly to Rotary Club of Arlington's scholarship program.

The club awards three $2,000 scholarships to students in the December following their high school graduation. Funds are awarded annually to one student from Arlington High School, Arlington Catholic and Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School. Scholarships are awarded to students pursuing any secondary education or training program after High School.

The cost of each sponsorship is $40.00. You may sponsor as many heroes as you want.  Click here for info or to purchase.
