Christina Brown, LMHC, joined the Burlington Rotary Club as guest speaker last week. She came to talk about her book Therapy and Other Drugs. The group talked about the stories in her book, the publishing process and mental health. The conversation was flowing, and it was nice to be able to hear from a professional about how to help people that are struggling.About the Author: Christina Brown is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, specializing in working with adults diagnosed with substance use disorders. During her time as a therapist, she has treated hundreds of patients. Christina’s extensive professional and personal experiences have shaped her debut as an author with: Therapy and Other Drugs. She is also recently married to Club President Todd Bettinson.
