On December 17, 2024, the Burlington Interact Club hosted their annual Christmas Party, a festive event filled with joy, laughter, and the spirit of giving. Held at Burlington High School, the party brought together community members, including the Burlington Pride basketball team and participants from Echo Enrichment, for an evening of celebration and camaraderie.

Rotarians from the Burlington Rotary Club were on hand to support the festivities, lending their time and energy to ensure the event's success. They worked tirelessly to serve a delicious spread of pizza, calzones, and delectable desserts, creating a warm and welcoming environment for all attendees.

The highlight of the evening was a special visit from Santa Claus, who distributed gifts to the guests, much to their delight. The room was filled with excitement as recipients unwrapped their presents, their faces lighting up with smiles.

The Burlington Pride basketball team and Echo Enrichment participants were particularly grateful for the thoughtful gifts and the opportunity to come together as a community during the holiday season. The evening was not just about receiving but also about sharing happiness and building connections.

“This event embodies the spirit of Rotary and our commitment to fostering goodwill in our community,” said Susan Stewart. “Seeing the joy on everyone’s faces reminds us why we do what we do.”

Adding to the celebration, John Tuccinardi was honored with a Paul Harris Award from Roger Bell in recognition of his years of dedicated service. The award, a testament to Tuccinardi’s unwavering commitment to the Rotary Club’s mission, was met with warm applause and gratitude from all in attendance.

The Burlington Interact Club and the Rotary Club are deeply grateful to all volunteers, participants, and supporters who made the Christmas Party a memorable occasion. As the year draws to a close, events like this remind us of the power of community and the importance of spreading kindness.

Here’s to more celebrations, service, and smiles in 2025!
