Cambridge Rotary turned 100 years this May and has an ambitious goal of a service project every month this year. January seemed like a good time to clear out the bookshelves. Our club sponsored its 5th joint book donation drive with the Center for Astrophysics Wolbach Library in Cambridge to support children exiting the foster system and other challenged youth (MTwyouth.org) to run a bookstore and earn funds for college and counseling.

150 books were collected and more were promised on the day of the book pickup. Cambridge Rotary thanks librarian Daina Bouquin for her readiness to help and promote the book drive through emails and support. "With the support of local partners, Cambridge Rotary can expand its outreach and awareness of its community service efforts," explains Natascha Finnerty, member and organizer of the drive.
