District Governor Dave Gardner recognized Peabody Rotarian Peggy Pedro as a member of the Paul Harris Society with a PHS Chevron and a District 7930 pin at a recent Peabody Rotary Club meeting. Dave was assisted by two Peabody Rotarians who were awarded PHS Chevrons at a Club meeting in July; Alyse Barbash and District Governor Elect Bob Wood. The Paul Harris Society is a formal recognition program to honor Rotarians who contribute $1,000 or more annually to The Foundation, allowing Rotary to fulfill the promises we make to improve our communities and communities around the world. In his visit Dave addressed Rotary's challenge of retaining and gaining members and encouraged each club member to invite two people to a meeting or service project over the next few months to demonstrate the good that Rotary does.DG David Gardner Visits Peabody Club
