Past RI President Jennifer Jones informed Past District Governor Alexander Falk today that our District 7930 was one of only 53 districts in the world to receive the District Citation for the previous 2022-23 Rotary year.
This citation is awarded to districts where at least half of the Rotary Clubs have achieved the Rotary Citation for the prior year.
IPDG Alexander Falk is presently scheduling visits to those clubs to present them with their framed Citation certificate at some point in the next 2-3 months and to recognize the great work that those clubs and their presidents have accomplished in the previous Rotary year.

Dear 2022-2023 Governors,
As we reflect on an extraordinary year, I am so proud and inspired by how our clubs continued to find innovative ways to connect with their members, communities, and the world.
During the 2022-2023 Rotary year, under your leadership, the clubs in your district worked to increase their membership, contribute to The Rotary Foundation, serve their communities, participate in Rotary programs, improve their public image, and so much more. As a result, at least half of the Rotary clubs in your district earned the 2022-2023 Rotary Citation.
I am pleased to recognize this accomplishment by presenting you with the 2022-23 District Citation digital certificate. Your district is one of 53 districts worldwide to receive this award, which recognizes those Rotary districts with at least half of their clubs earning the Rotary Citation.
I encourage you to share the recognition with your district as motivation to achieve this prestigious award again in 2023-24. Again, I congratulate you on your efforts to grow Rotary and for a job well done!
Jennifer Jones
2022-2023 RI President
