2014-15 DISTRICT MANAGED GRANTS AWARDED

This past year, District 7930 awarded 14 district managed grants to 14 clubs totaling $35,054. Two of these grants were international and the remaining were all local grants. The ability for clubs to receive grants for projects that they create and implement is a clear demonstration of how the donations that are made to The Rotary Foundation provide funding for service projects three years later.

It is essential that all projects meet one of the Six Areas of Focus:
  • Peace and Conflict Resolution
  • Disease Prevention and Treatment
  • Water and Sanitation
  • Maternal and Child Health
  • Basic Education and Literacy
  • Economic and Community Development
Congratulations to the clubs who applied and received grants and good luck in successfully completing your projects. For clubs who have not applied for a grant recently, consider the following list for ideas or contact Martha Holden at holden@noble.net.
