Did you know that there is a Rotary Initiative underway to provide Addiction Prevention Education to our communities and it is going regional and maybe global? The first community forum was held in May and there are almost a dozen being planned around New England and interest is spreading to New York, New Jersey, Halifax, Vancover and beyond.
Would you like to be apart of this initiative in your community, the district or beyond? If so, please consider joining the new Addiction Prevention Task Force in District 7930 and support the efforts of clubs and members who want to add addiction prevention support to Make a Difference! We need help in promoting the initiative, speaking at clubs and supporting clubs that decide to host Community Forums and implement the school based curriculum in their high schools.
