The Gloucester Rotary Club held a Polio Awareness/Education meeting on October 23 in preparation for World Polio Day.  A special slide show was playing as members arrived and members were given purple beads, EndPolioNow stickers, and the opportunity to paint their pinky nail purple.  If a member didn't want to paint a nail, purple bands were available to wear on their pinky.  A rousing and competitive game of "End Polio Now Jeopardy" followed.  The meeting wrapped up with a short video in which the WHO Director-General and UNICEF Executive Director thank Rotary for our efforts to #EndPolioNow.  Following the meeting, the Rotarians had fun taking pictures with a variety of polio-inspired hashtag signs.  Members were then encouraged to share their pictures on their favorite social media sites.
