As this Rotary Year draws to a close and the new one begins in just about three weeks, we encourage you to prepare for the transition especially with respect to your club's eligibility to do Rotary Foundation Grants.

In order to be able to do District Managed Grants (DMG) or Global Grants (GG) this coming Rotary year, you need to make sure to complete the following three steps:

  1. Your club needs to close out any current DMGs from this year. If you haven't done so already, please send your final report to the District Grants Committee at grants@rotary7930.org ASAP. All DMGs from this year need to be completed and closed, before you can apply for a new DMG in the coming Rotary year!
  2. Two or more members of your club need to become grant-qualified. We recommend the incoming president and the foundation committee chair. But you can also add all members of your foundation committee. Only grant-qualified members have access to the grants module in ClubRunner. There are two ways to become grant-qualified: (a) if you attended the District Assembly on April 10 this year, you are automatically grant-qualified; (b) you can go to this page on our district website: https://www.rotary7930.org/sitepage/rotary-foundation/grant-qualification and watch a short 20-minute grant qualification seminar on YouTube and then complete a short online quiz (the link to the quiz is underneath the video on the same page).
  3. The current president 2024-2025 and the incoming president 2025-2026 both need to sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). You can sign this document electronically via e-Signature by going to https://www.rotary7930.org/sitepage/rotary-foundation/grant-qualification and scrolling down to the bottom of the page, where you will find the separate links for Presidents and Presidents-Elect to e-Sign the MOU.
Thank you and we look forward to working with you on implementing Rotary Foundation Grants in the coming 2025-2026 Rotary year!
