The Rotary Club of Ipswich will host the 4th Annual Empty Bowl Dinner on Thursday, February 20, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at the Hellenic Center, 117 County Road, Ipswich. Proceeds from the event will benefit The Open Door Ipswich Food Pantry, which serves Ipswich, Rowley, Topsfield, Boxford, Hamilton and Wenham. Empty Bowl events are held nationally to generate awareness concerning hunger and to raise money for local hunger-relief programs. The meal is simple; soup, bread and a cookie.
