On April 16, Ipswich-Rowley Rotary presented the Third Annual ‘Community Support Awards’. Eleven organizations received a total of $7,500 in recognition of their service in making our communities just a bit better. These awards reflect the mission and standards of Rotary and were presented by chair Kathy Frederick.

- The YMCA of the North Shore, for its youth development programs, particularly summer camp for 5-10 children in financial need. Accepting was Chris Bevilacqua. 
- Ipswich Education Foundation, for various initiatives that deepen hands on learning, environmental stewardship, and student engagement in the Middle and High School levels. Accepting were Amy Borgman and Ingrid Miles. 
- Ipswich Junior Sailing, to provide half scholarships to two families in need, whose child will learn practical water safety, teamwork and leadership skills. Accepting was Sarah Gallagher.
- Three Sisters Garden Project, to support new free public markets, including growing, distributing, purchasing and outreach. Accepting was Elizabeth Green.
- Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestra, to support scholarships for incoming musicians to develop their expertise and continue their community service experiences. Accepting was Sarah Southard.
- Ipswich Art Association, for materials and community-based activities that open participation to everyone regardless of need or experience. Accepting was Sandy Bemis.
- Ipswich Refugee Program, for food, clothing and personal needs of incoming refugees and immigrants. This program also reminds us that we all are descendants of immigrants. Accepting was Meridith Joss.
- Ipswich Teen Center (Ipswich Public Schools), for sporting equipment and special event funding to support their goal of providing Middle School students with a safe place for learning and activities that develop personal growth. Accepting was Alisha Merry. 
- Mark Warner Professional Martial Arts, to expand accessible safety, character building programs, and community outreach in Ipswich and on the North Shore. Accepting was Mark Warner. 
- Cuvilly Arts and Earth Center, to provide financial assistance to their pre-school and kindergarten programs as well as other services. Accepting was Kelly Rich.
- Ipswich High School Environmental Club, to install a rain garden at the entrance to the Dolan Performing Arts Center, to absorb runoff and prevent erosion while beautifying the entrance. Accepting was Lori LaFrance.
