During a challenging year where tough decisions had to be made by many organizations to cancel or indefinitely postpone fundraising events, the Ipswich-Rowley Rotary Club produced a locally themed Monopoly-style game as a replacement for more traditional in-person fundraising events. The community's support and the commitment of local businesses to sponsor and distribute the games was extraordinary. This generosity allows the Club to continue their commitment of volunteer and financial contributions for local and international projects, including Ipswich Dinner Bell, Open Door Food Pantry, Lend-a-hand Services for Seniors, Town & Spring Cleanups, Community Service Projects, College Scholarships for local High School seniors, local Community Grant projects, International Grants, Rotaplast International for Cleft Lip & Palate procedures, and the Polar Plunge to support the ‘End Polio Now!’ initiative.
A small number of games are still available for $30 each at the Ipswich YMCA and the Ipswich branch of BankGloucester. Contact Julie Nelson at for additional information.
