Julia Phelps, Rotary Club of Amesbury and Trustee, Rotary International (2017-2020), was the speaker at a combined dinner meeting of Marblehead and Marblehead Harbor Rotary Clubs. She updated the memberships on the status of Rotary's Polio Plus program and the challenges the world faces on eliminating polio from the earth.
She also reflected on her friend and Rotary "partner-in-crime" Fraffie Welch who passed and moved to a new Rotary Club location in 2017. We are grateful to Julia for all her efforts at Rotary International and for enlightening us on her experiences.

The two Marblehead clubs have not had a joint meeting in many years and this evening - if I must comment as the PR Chair at Marblehead Rotary - was especially fun and joyful. My thanks to Michael Cognata for hosting the gathering and to Michael and Alexander Falk and Marblehead Harbor Rotary for organizing the event.
