Rob Deina, outgoing President of the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor signed the Charter and passed the gavel on to Mike Cognata, current President of the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor (shown on the left) at the recent 2018 Installation Dinner.  The Dinner was attended by over 50 members and guests including Kang Yu, the Assistant District Governor.

Mike Coganata stated that he has three primary goals for the upcoming year including  "finding individuals who live in Marblehead (or nearby communities) who are in need of assistance but are reluctant to ask for help.  Assistance could include help with medical bills, small home repairs, etc.  The second goal includes increasing the club's membership by creating greater awareness of the International Rotary Club mission and projects."  Mike went on to say that "This awareness will come through club activities, Facebook and other means to show the public the good work done by Rotarians."  The third goal includes "collaborating with other clubs in order to combine resources to be more effective in completing projects both locally and internationally."

At the Installation Dinner, three members were awarded the Paul Harris Fellowship Award: Melissa Stacey for her outstanding administrative support, Steve Lipsky for his dedication to the Scholarship Fund Committee and John Williams for his longstanding support to the Club through his regular involvement with various committees, the board, and activities. All three recipients exemplified, through their behavior, that they put service of others before service of self.

The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor meets Tuesday mornings from 7:15am -8:15am at the Masonic Lodge on Pleasant and welcomes new members.
