On Friday, Oct 24th, in honor of World Polio Day, Newburyport Rotary loaded up a truck full of crutches, walkers, wheelchairs, canes, and other mobility aids generously donated by our community - all headed to Crutches4Africa, a nonprofit that helps improve mobility and dignity for people in developing countries.
This effort was made possible thanks to the incredible support from our neighbors, fellow Rotary Clubs, and local organizations who answered the call over the past few months. Your donations will soon travel across the world and make a real difference for individuals in need.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped us collect, sort, and deliver these items. We’re proud to be part of a global mission to help eradicate polio and support those affected by it.
