Immediate Past District Governor Tom Hankard is currently recovering after an accident that resulted in a significant neck and spinal cord injury. He underwent spinal surgery at Mass General Hospital earlier this spring and is currently undergoing comprehensive rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Charlestown, where he is expected to be for a total of three months.
Despite the challenges, Tom remains in good spirits and continues to demonstrate his trademark positive attitude throughout his recovery.
