This event will focus on the next steps Rotarians can take to promote
DEI and Belonging in their Clubs and Communities.
The evening's event will discuss topics such as:
What is micro-aggression, overcompensation anxiety, unconscious bias, and what inclusion looks like?
In the first half of the evening the discussion will be lead by Jim and Linda Lapota and participants will assess where they and their Clubs are currently in the DEI journey. Participants will then break out into smaller groups to debrief and discuss.
The second half of the evening, based on outcomes from the first half , the Lapota’s will share some next steps and tools that will help Clubs move forward on the DEI journey. James and Linda will also discuss how Clubs can set a SMART goal for a follow-up check in one month later.
