The Peabody Rotary Club surprised our club Vice President Chief Tom Griffin with a much deserved Unsung Hero Award in December. This "surprise" took 3 months to pull together and was no easy task as "The Chief" was a Private Investigator. The date was chosen so that his wife Patty, a School Teacher, and family would be able to attend as well.The five Common Characteristics of an Unsung Hero--our Chief has every one:

What Our Chief has done for our community is immeasurable. To say he is ingrained in every fiber of the City of Peabody would be an understatement.
