Are you familiar with Rotary’s Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign? These ads showcase who we are, what we do, and invite the public to take action with us. Rotary PSAs are available for U.S. television and radio stations to air – at no cost to us!
Since launching in March 2020, the campaign has reached millions of Americans through TV, radio, and print, generating more than $58 million in donated media value. We’ve recently contacted media outlets nationwide to share our newest PSAs (see attached PDF). This outreach is timed to support vaccine access and disease prevention during World Immunization Week (24-30 April).
You can help keep the momentum going by reaching out directly to TV and radio program directors. They’re often glad to hear from community members and regularly include PSAs in their programming when asked. A sample outreach letter is included to help you get started.
The highlighted PSAs include:
Connecting Communities, Changing Lives: Highlights how Rotary members create positive change locally and globally (TV and radio).
We’re Unstoppable: Spotlights Rotary’s leadership in the global effort to end polio.
Zero Dose Children: Raises awareness of children who have not received routine vaccinations.
Personal Perspectives: The Value of Rotary: New member testimonials that bring Rotary experiences to life.
When you reach out to local program directors, invite them to visit the PSA Download Center, where they can access the full suite of Rotary PSA assets. Additionally, you can find materials for your club to use in the Rotary Brand Center.
If you’d like to get monthly PSA placement reports, please contact pr@rotary.org.
Thank you for helping increase awareness of Rotary!
