At its dinner meeting at Austin Prep this week, Reading Rotary was pleased to welcome Sharon Kelleher, Library Director of North Reading’s Flint Memorial Library. Sharon accepted a donation for the purchase of an automated external defibrillator (AED) for the library. Flint Memorial is North Reading's public library.
Sharon had reached out to Rotarian Peter Majane seeking assistance with the project. There was a pressing need to have an AED on the fourth floor especially because the elevator is not currently working and the additional stairs created greater potential for incidents requiring the device.
