Did you know that our Annual Fund giving supports many local and international projects? Your member benefit is truly at work in D7930!!

Last year, we spent $58,323 on club and district projects from our district designated funds, with 85% of the grants spent locally, including $13,500 for grants specific to COVID food relief, and approximately 15% spent internationally in Bangladesh, Uganda and Columbia. 27 total Grants were awarded in total, 17 to clubs and two to the district as a whole (Service Dog & Backpacks for Wonderfund Charity).

In addition, for the first time in history our district received a $94.950.00 global grant to be used within our district for PPE for Care Dimensions and PPE/food relief for St. Francis House.

This year, 9 clubs have applied for grants with a total of $24,900 allocated to date. 90% of these monies are being used to support local students and communities, with 10% supporting international projects. Local projects include: a service dog to a 9 y.o. child; providing a summer reading program; improving a public bike bath; providing weekend food to children in need; head sets for schools for virtual learning; purchasing furniture and household goods for Furnishing Hope; purchasing books and backpacks for students; purchasing and installing bike racks. And internationally, a new kitchen for the House of Joy Children's Center in Uganda.

This demonstrates that our Annual Fund SHARE greatly benefits our local communities and individuals, as well as our international partners. Please consider giving to the Annual Fund-SHARE today.
