Last weekend Swampscott Rotary held our 45th annual cookout for Northeast ARC (NE-ARC) and Bridgewell. NE-ARC and Bridgewell are organizations that help people with disabilities become full participants in the community; choosing for themselves how to live, learn, work, socialize and play. We hosted and served 100 guests on a gorgeous summer day. We had must extra help from friends and Marblehead/Swampscott Elderact members. Our guests enjoyed our food, games and the music of our DJ of all 45 years, Swampscott Rotary's current President, David Legere.
Pictured here are Swampscott Rotarians, Elderact members and friends preparing to cook and serve our guests.
