I would like to thank each and every Rotarian for the commitment you have in the service to others. It is inspiring to be part of such an incredible organization that is Making a Difference every day in local communities and around the world. Over the past 10 weeks, during the official visits, it has become clear how much better the world is with Rotary. The pride, joy and love that I feel is such a blessing to me and I want to let you know how humbling and fulfilling it is to be the governor of District 7930.
With your time, talent and treasure, we are approaching the end of polio on our planet. Although this is our signature project, daily you are providing food and shelter to the hungry and homeless, educating children, fighting disease and so much more. We need you and so many more people to join us in Doing Good in the World, especially today. Those who are less fortunate than us, need us, and I know that we will be there. Collectively, our clubs provide hundreds of Thanksgiving meals to families who would otherwise not have a one, and you have provided joy where there might have been sadness.
