Thank you to the Greater Salem, Woburn and Salem clubs who have started adding their donations through MyRotary.  Donations to this year’s Polar Plunge are being directly made through the donate button in MyRotary or through your club’s Foundation Chair.  Once a club has donated a minimum of $1500 it qualifies them to receive the End Polio Now Certificate from Rotary International.  Last year only four clubs in our district reached that benchmark.  I’m pleased to say that the top six clubs above have already surpassed that level.  Let’s try to get our District back to more participation throughout the clubs.

Year to date we have raised $35,559.01 of our $100,000 goal, that’s one third of the way there. There are 15 clubs in the district who have not started making their donations to Polio through MyRotary and I have got questions from many of them and some are planning to attend the plunge in Gloucester and then add their donations in.  We cannot count donations and add your club to the list, if your club doesn’t record them through the RI website.

Clubs can register their participation by clicking here. Currently, we have approximately 195 Rotarians, Interactors and friends coming to the beach to plunge.
