The Rotary Club of Chelsea honored local veterans at their annual Veteran’s Appreciation Luncheon on Tuesday at the Homewood Suites by Hilton Boston Logan Airport Chelsea. Veterans from Chelsea, the Soldiers Home and members of the Chelsea Rotary Club enjoyed a specially prepared menu served in their honor, and they shared stories about where they or family members served, about service, gratitude and pride in country. “Service Above Self” is the Rotary motto and the Club extended their gratitude to our veterans and active members of the US Military for their “Service Above Self” to protect our freedoms, liberty and way of life.
