The Wakefield Rotary Club completed delivery of its donations to Ruth’s Way for Women and 121 North Common in Lynn. Ruth’s Way provides services that support “whole health and wellness,” and supports sober housing for women. Similarly, 121 North Common provides sober living for men.The club took requests from both locations to best serve their clients’ needs. Donations included toilet paper, sanitary products, cleaning supplies, new sheets, and towels.
Ruth’s Way Founder and Executive Director Nicole O’Brien spoke at the club and highlighted the impact of donations. She was also on hand as Club President Kathy Boyle and Julie MacArthur delivered a trunk-full of supplies. Boyle noted, “Supporting those in recovery is important to their health. It’s important for them to know people care and haven’t forgotten about them.” 121 N Common House Manager Seymour McKenzie was also on hand to receive over 12 boxes of donations, delivered by Past President Amy Luckiewicz and volunteer Rob Dunn.
