The Interact Club of the Rotary Club of Winchester recently held a successful eye glass drive, donating more than 325 pairs of eye glasses to the Woburn Lions Club for their Sight Program.

The high school students in the Interact Club choose an eye glass drive as their spring community service project. The students worked with local Winchester businesses and organizations such as the Winchester Library, the Jenks Center, the Fuller Cup, and Winchester Community Music School as drop off locations, in addition to collecting glasses as Winchester High School. Winchester’s Interact Club meets at Winchester High School, typically at the end of the school day, and is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Winchester. Other service projects that the Winchester Interact Club has done include maintenance projects at Wright-Locke Farm, volunteering at Winchester’s Chili Fest, participating in Rotary District 7930 Polar Plunge for Polio Eradication, and more.
