Saugus/Chelsea Rotary Bowling League 2017
The Saugus/Chelsea Rotary Bowling League is looking for new members for the 2017 season. The league bowls at the Townline Bowling Lanes on Rt. 99 in Malden. The League bowls a short season starting September 6, 2017 and ends in early December. The league bowls Wednesday evening starting at 5:15 PM and end by 6:30 PM. Most of the members than go out to eat afterward to socialize. Teams are made up of two members each and are randomly selected. This is an 80% handicap league and you do not need to be a Rotarian to join the league. If interested in joining the league please contact Bruce Mauch at brucem@chelseaclock.com.
TBM Rotary Welcomes New Members
President Dan Mackey welcomes new members Terry Sheppard, a realtor with LAER Realty Partners and Sean Mackey, a social-media marketeer with Workout Marketing to the TBM Club at its new meeting location, Breakaway on Route 1 North in Danvers. The Club now meets on Tuesday's at 6:00 PM.

Our 2018 District Conference will be an amazing, five-district Rotary event at the Mount Washington Summit, May 4-6, 2018, featuring Rotarians from Quebec, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts.
 
Planning is well underway.  Rotary International President Ian Riseley has agreed to be our Friday night Keynote Speaker on May 4.

Public Image Mini-Grants Available
We're thrilled to announce that the Summer, 2017 Public Image Mini-Grant is now OPEN for application! This is a matching grant of up to $250 each. The purpose of this mini-grant is to improve the public image of the Rotary clubs of District 7930. Categories for mini-grant approval are listed in the grant application. We encourage you to use vendors that offer high quality and consider multiple bidders. Please carefully read the details, qualifications and responsibilities of the grant.

Rotary at the Red Sox!!

How would you like to join 200 Rotarians and friends from around New England to root for our hometown heroes – The Boston Red Sox vs. the Oakland A’s at the beloved Fenway Park? Hopefully, on September 13th, they will still be on top of the AL East, and will be on their way to the playoffs and maybe another World Series banner! Districts 7910, 7930, 7950 and 7780 are all part of this extravaganza, so you are sure to meet some new friends and get a few new ideas on how to make more impact.
 
 
New Friendraiser Membership Mini-Grants Available
The Membership/Public Image Team is happy to share a fresh opportunity for clubs to host FRIENDraisers to attract new members and present alternative forms of membership. Clubs can apply for up to $250 reimbursement match. Partner with another club and we'll reimburse up to $300! Is your club offering an alternative form of membership like Service Members, Corporate, Non-Profit or Satellite Clubs? If so, your application will get priority! Please carefully read all of the qualifications, requirements and timelines.

Has your club recently hosted an event or project or are you planning something in the near future that you would like to share with your fellow District 7930 Rotarians?
 
The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin. Stories that showcase your club or event should be submitted via the website portal at this link.
 
The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.
