Polar Plunge Getting Close!

"How can I help eradicate polio from the world?"

Funny you should ask.  In just over two weeks, Rotarians and friends from all over District 7930 will leap into the frosty waters off Gloucester-- all in the name of eradicating polio!

Hamilton-Wenham to Visit Gloucester for This Week's Meeting
The Hamilton-Wenham Club typically meets on Friday mornings at 7:30am at the Wenham Tea House.  However, this Friday, February 14, 2020, 7:30-9:30am, the Club will meet at the Gloucester House, located at 63 Rogers Street in downtown Gloucester, during the SeniorCare Valentine's Day Meals on Wheels Fundraiser Breakfast.  SeniorCare provides a variety of services to seniors in nine North Shore communities, including Hamilton and Wenham.

Any Rotarian in need of a makeup or simply wanting to have a delicious meal with a fun group is welcome to join the Club Friday morning.  For more information, please contact DGE Betsy Manzelli for details.  Tickets for the breakfast are $15 per person, and may be purchased online or at the door during the breakfast.
Gloucester Rotary "Night at the Races"
The Gloucester Rotary Club will hold their annual “A Night at the Races” on Friday, March 20, at Cruiseport Gloucester, located at 6 Rowe’s Wharf in Gloucester.  Doors open at 6:30 pm.  All proceeds from this event will support local and international programs of the Gloucester Rotary.

A Night at the Races is a fun-filled evening with all the suspense and excitement of a racetrack. High quality, video-taped horse races are narrated from start to finish by lively announcers.  During the evening there will be complimentary hors d’oeuvre, a cash bar, and variety of raffles. At various points during the evening, players will be able to use their winnings to bid on merchandise and services that have been donated for the event.  For the most fun, reserve a table – bring a group.  Tickets are $10 per person and may be purchased online or at the door on the night of the event.
Winchester Annual Golf Tournament
The Rotary Club of Winchester's 32nd Annual Charity Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, May 18, 2020, at the Winchester Country Club. Our tournament is held to benefit the Winchester Rotary Charitable Foundation, Inc. The fund supports numerous local charitable organizations as well the national and international works of Rotary International. We rely solely on our valued sponsors, donors, and auctions to raise the funds to support our annual charities fund.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the exclusive Winchester Country Club each year for our golf tournament. The WCC offers only a few non-member golf events each year. The Rotary Club of Winchester Charity Golf Tournament is fortunate still to be one of the very few to offer exclusive access to golf at the WCC.

For full information on the Tournament, including sponsorship and registration, please visit our webpage. Additional Questions can be directed to golf@winchesterrotary.org.
