RYLA 2026 was an Incredible Success

94 students and more than 25 adults came together for a weekend filled with growth, connection, leadership, and unforgettable experiences. The impact was real, and the feedback from our 2026 survey says it all:

“Being a leader is hard work, but it is one of the most rewarding things a person could be — RYLA is absolutely the best place to learn to lead.”

A heartfelt thank you to our Rotary Clubs, RYLA coordinators, Lead Team, Family Leaders/Advisors, Facilitators, Camp Rotary, and everyone who helped make this weekend possible — especially the Melrose Rotary Club for generously covering the cost of our Ropes Instructors, along with all of our amazing club and individual donors.

These students are AMAZING — we can’t wait to see what they do with all they learned!  Thank you for helping create an experience that will stay with them for a lifetime!

Marblehead Harbor Supports Environmentally Friendly Lawns
When the Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor heard about the biodiversity, community, and earth health benefits of switching from curated lawns to different models, they took action.

TRANSITION YOUR LAWN: PLANT HOPE is an initiative that offers 5 models for taking your traditional lawn from a patch of ground that (considering watering, mowing, added chemical, and nutrients) creates more greenhouse gases than it absorbs, to working earth that generates a haven for water absorption, biodiversity, native plants, and in one model, hyper nutritious food for family, neighbors, and community.

They supporting the creation of a web site: www.transitionyourlawn.org, and the originator of the program has been presenting to other clubs throughout the region.  Another example of Rotarians at work!

Has your club recently hosted an event or project or are you planning something in the near future that you would like to share with your fellow District 7930 Rotarians?

The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin.
