Join Us for World Peace and Understanding Event
Join us on February 26 for our World Peace and Understanding Event.  The event will be from 6 to 9 pm at Danversport, 161 Elliot St., Danvers, MA 01923.

We are fortunate to have as our special guest polio survivor John Nanni. Six months just before the Salk Vaccine distribution, John was paralyzed from his neck down. He now uses a wheelchair for most of his daily mobility due to severe Post-Polio Syndrome issues. John will enlighten us on Polio and Peace. He is a proud member of the Rotary Club of Middletown-Odessa-Townsend, Delaware, USA.

RYLA Applications Now Open
Applications for this year's RYLA are officially live and can be found hereDownload the flyer here.

RYLA 2025 will be May 16th-18th at Camp Rotary in Boxford, MA. We are so excited to connect with this year's rising leaders and have a committed group of returning students to help lead the weekend.

As you begin to think about who you can invite to apply for this life-changing experience, remember that the impact of RYLA extends far beyond the weekend itself. It's an opportunity for young leaders to grow, connect, and inspire one another, and we can't wait to see who will join us this year!

We have volunteers eager to speak about RYLA at your Rotary and Interact Clubs. It's a great way to spread the word and encourage more students to take advantage of this opportunity. Please feel free to reach out to Christina at Christina@PartnerWithChoice.com or call 978.270.6706 to arrange a presentation.

Thank you for your ongoing support in the future of these young leaders. Together, we are making a difference!
Ipswich River Watershed Assn Legislative Breakfast
Save the Ipswich River: The Lifeblood of Our Communities Global Grant supported the Ipswich River Watershed Association’s Legislative Breakfast in the past. IRWA has been continuing the great work on helping our river and watershed thrive. This year's Legislative Breakfast is happening on Tuesday, March 11th. I hope you will consider coming to discuss water and climate resiliency issues facing our watershed and communities. State legislators from around the watershed will share their ideas about how to protect our rivers. This is a great opportunity to let our legislators know how they can help support the river’s needs during this legislative session.

Welcome, Jose!
We are extremely proud to welcome one of the United States' newest citizens, Jose David Cermeño Perez. Jose came to our club back in 2012-13 as an exchange student from Venezuela, all wide eyed about Rotary. He was involved with the music and theatre department at high school, with a high point starring as Bernardo in West Side Story.

Our former exchange student who returned to his turbulent home country after a senior year at Beverly High School.  He later made entry back to the US to attend Endicott College with the support of Beverly Rotary and the late Dr. Richard Wylie, President of Endicott College.  Jose has informed us that he is now a US citizen as of January 25 this year.

His time here was one of preservation and persistence, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Endicott. He now lives in New York City with his marriage partner and is a financial analyst for Luxottica Eyewear.

Let's all welcome him to this 370 million strong melting pot we call the United States as a cherished new citizen.

Welcome Jose! Glad to have you aboard! We love you!
