Trustees of the Foundation Increase Flexibility of Grants for COVID-19
I would like to share with you some great news from District 7930 and the Rotary Foundation!
The Rotary Foundation recently gave districts more flexibility in using DDF money. Clubs who are grant qualified have access to apply for a District grant up to $6,000 per grant (50% Club/50% District) to be used for COVID 19 FOOD RELIEF. There are ONLY 25 clubs who qualified this year and each of those clubs/members received a separate email from me. Qualified clubs need to submit grants by May 1 and complete the project by June 1. Grants will be approved on a first come, first serve basis until the $19,000 is depleted. You can find the Grant application here:
In addition, any monies that you haven't spent in your current district grant can be repurposed for a Covid-19 response.

Ten Thousand Acts of Peace

Have You Logged in Your Club's Acts of Peace?

D7930 committed to performing 10,000 Acts of Peace  between February 12 (the date of the World Peace & Understanding Dinner) and June 1, 2020.  What are you and your club doing right now to battle the COVID pandemic?  Log your acts under Disease Prevention and help us get to our goal of 10,000 Acts of Peace by June 1.
Have you donated food/funds to a food pantry?
Have you donated PPE to a human services agency?
Have your members volunteered their time?

Please log your Club's Acts of Peace here

Together, we can easily hit the 10,000 goal!
What is Your Club Doing Today?
How has your Club adapted to today's new reality of online meetings?  What innovative ways are you continuing to support your members, your community and the world?
Please share your story with us. The District would love to know what you are doing and how you are managing.
