District Ushers in New Rotary Year
On June 30, District 7930 gathered at Danversport Yacht Club to celebrate installation of District Governor Alexander Falk and new Club Presidents for 2022-2023.  Taking the helm at Rotary International is Jennifer Jones, RI's very first female President.  This year's Presidential Theme is Imagine Rotary.

Lexington Passes the Gavel Again
A lot was happening on Monday, June 27th at the Rotary Club of Lexington's annual Installation Luncheon Meeting.  President Cleve Coats handed the gavel over to incoming President Veronica Caira.  Veronica was also presented with her first Paul Harris Fellow Award.

President Cleve also received his third PHF from Lexington Past President and Treasurer Dan Busa and Concord Past President Sharon Spaulding.  Sharon recommended Cleve to the Lexington Club and Past President Dan was his sponsor.  Also, on his last meeting as president, Cleve together with Membership Chair Domenic Sicari inducted the Club's newest member, Ibn Insan Sauti.

Peabody's Run Raises $4000 for Ipswich River
Peabody Rotary's Source-to-Sea Run on June 18th successfully completed by champion marathoner and Peabody Rotarian Dan Vassallo, raised over $4,000 for the Ipswich River Watershed Association (https://www.ipswichriver.org/), $1,000 over our goal!

The run raised awareness about the watershed, a local environment that is essential for clean water and for sustaining the life that gives our ecosystem its richness, which can help combat climate change.  Clean water and environmental protection are two primary tenets of what Rotary stands in service of and we are thrilled to have had such a successful event to support these goals.  For more about what our club does visit: rotarypeabody.org
