Are You Registered for the 2018 Rotary Summit at Mount Washington?
If you have not yet registered for the 2018 Rotary Summit at Mount Washington, you might want to do so very soon. We already have almost 400 people registered for this unique opportunity to attend a year-end conference with Rotarians and friends from around New England and Quebec. We have an amazing array of keynote speakers: RI President Ian Riseley, Shirley-Pat Chamberlain, Razia Jan, and Travis Roy. They will inspire and empower you to maximize your impact through Rotary service. Add compelling roundtable discussions on issues like the opioid crisis, human trafficking, building vibrant clubs and so much more and you have a recipe to engage members in service where they can find personal satisfaction. Our onsite project will demonstrate the abilities of our Rotary youth as they lead and manage Rotarians in packaging meals on Saturday afternoon. We will own the entire hotel property including all resort rooms, dining rooms, The Cave and all meeting space. If you have never been to the Mount Washington Hotel, there are dozens of nooks and crannies where you can meet other Rotarians who share your passion and can provide tips on how to enhance your success in club management, service projects or almost anything Rotary. Don't forget that there will be tons of fun with a myraid of entertainment throughout the weekend.

Ipswich's 25 Days of Giving
Ipswich Rotary donates truckloads of supplies to the Open Door Food Panty.

At the club's meeting on January 18, Ipswich Rotarians loaded up two vans from their “25 Days of Giving” initiative in December. Using a reverse Advent Calendar method, club member families added one item daily according to a 25-day calendar leading up to the Holidays. Donations ranged from food to clothing to small kitchen appliances. Seen loading the Open Door van are Open Door Executive Director and Gloucester Rotary President Elect Julie LaFontaine, Ipswich Rotary President Cushing Titcomb, and Open Door Ipswich Manager Luke Kleindienst.
