Winchester Rotary Club Updates in 2020!
Rotary Club of Winchester, MA, USA Club #6639, District 7930
Under the leadership of PP Linda Doucette and current President Jeff Wheeler, The Winchester Club continued its outreach in the community during the 2020 pandemic without the benefit of a major fund raiser. Despite the limitations the COVID-19 pandemic has brought to the town and region as a whole, we continue our partnerships with the Mission of Deeds, Meals on Wheels, Council of Social Concern and the Interact Club of Winchester High School, and maintain our sponsorships of Wrap-a-Smile Project, Rotary College Scholarships and outreach to the town's Jenks Senior Center.

Salem Rotary Keeps Tradition Alive in a Time of Pandemic
Salem Rotarians bring holiday cheer to foster children and their familiesThe Salem Rotary Club has hosted a holiday celebration for foster children and their families on the North Shore for over 20 years. In partnership with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), this celebration is traditionally hosted at Salem High School and is a highlight of the year for both the children and Rotarians, with pizza, games, crafts, bounce houses, story time, and gifts from Santa. This event is one of two the Salem Club runs each year that allows foster children the opportunity to spend time with their biological siblings, who are often not able to be housed in the same foster home.

The Rotary Club of Marblehead Harbor continues this special gift to music lovers, and all who want a virtual way to celebrate the holidays. Has your club recently hosted an event or project or are you planning something in the near future that you would like to share with your fellow District 7930 Rotarians?
 
The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin. Stories that showcase your club or event should be submitted via the website portal at this link.
 
The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.
