COME CELEBRATE AT THE CONFERENCE WITH US!

So...You've been thinking, I should probably register for District Assembly or District Conference! If you are thinking that, do so today. Registration ends on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 5:00 pm to allow your District Registrar the opportunity to put the actual registration sheets together. So if you are done procrastinating, please click here to register for District Assembly, and here to Register for District Conference. Why don't you do it now while you're thinking about it? It will only take a few minutes to insure a weekend of fun and fellowship!

SPRING CLEANING? SAVE YOUR SHOES!

The North Andover Interact club will be collecting shoes in any condition at the District Conference on May 2nd as part of their service project for the people of Guatemala. Practical shoes (not high heels) to be used for digging in trash piles; technological trash from countries like ours.

The collection will be part of the Youth and Family program at the conference. Interactive events like Giant Jenga, human knot, photo booth, Tanzanian bracelet instruction and other surprises will be happening along with breakouts on Camp Rotary, A Library project in Kenya, and the Boston Rotaract discussing their new service initiative to help with substance abuse in young people. Be a part of an instructive and fun day!

REGISTER NOW FOR THE ROTARY LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE (RLI)

Would you like to become a better leader, learn more about Rotary or exchange ideas with other committed Rotarians from within our the district and other districts in New England, then RLI is for you!

The Rotary Leadership Institute seeks to have Rotary Clubs, in its member districts, identify those Rotarians who appear to have the potential for future club leadership (not necessarily as club presidents) and provide those so identified with a quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills so important in voluntary organizations.

The Peabody session is the last session and the only one locally, of the Spring Semester, so don't forget that your Governor, Peter Simonsen, has agreed to reimburse, during his year, any club, the site cost for one member to attend Part 1 or Part 2.

As of April 27, 2015, there are only 13 days until the event date and only 3

days until the registration deadline of April 29, 2015.

NEW STORY SUBMISSION PAGE ANNOUNCED

In an effort to maximize the speed both the submission and posting of stories to the district website, eBulletin, social media or for use in public image stories, the Technology and Communications Committee is announcing a new web tool. It is available at here or by clicking on the graphic on the left. You will be able to either type into the title and story fields or copy and paste from virtually any other program. Although this will not allow for any special formatting, we will try to emphasize the key points and ensure that we meet Rotary branding guidelines. You can also attach up to 2 photos and captions for those photos. Please crop the photos as you would like them to appear prior to uploading or provide special instructions in the area provided so that we can make the appropriate adjustments for you.

You can choose the month that you would like your story to appear and where you want your story to be published within the body of the form. Don't forget to provide your name and email so we can contact you with questions and also advise you when the story is published.
