Congrats on a Successful Clothes Swap
Big shout out to the Environmental Committee for hosting a very fun and successful 1st Annual Clothes and Book/Puzzle Swap. What a great way to part with clothes and books you no longer want, keep them out of the landfill, and have the opportunity to shop for new to you items for one small price. The venue was fantastic, in a great location in Danvers just off Route 95 making it easy for most of the district to get there.

Be on the lookout for the 2nd Annual Swap Event.  Don't miss next year's Clothes Swap.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped set-up, break down and put out all the items as people brought them.

    Collecting Mobility Equipment Now
Newburyport Rotary is partnering with the Rotary Club of Saco Bay in Maine and the non-profit, Crutches4Africa.

We will be collecting all types of used mobility equipment until the end of October.

If you, or anyone you know, has unwanted crutches, wheelchairs, walkers, canes, or leg braces just taking up space, please reach out to me at lstpierre@ifs.bank

We’ll be shipping these devices directly to Africa where most people aren’t so fortunate to have these walking tools, never mind surgeries to fix their problems.

You can learn more about the non-profit here: CRUTCHES 4 AFRICA.
    Successful Senior BBQs in Lexington
Lexington Rotary continued ours annual tradition and served up BBQs to seniors in September.  We lucked out with three beautiful September afternoons for our annual BBQ’s at Lexington’s senior housing communities.

All hands were on deck to support our senior friends who look forward to the visit from Rotary each year. We love giving back to our community and what better way than with cheeseburgers and hot dogs off the grill!
