A Gift, a Clock, 100 Years of Community Service
Isn't it a beauty?  Marblehead Rotary donated a 10 and a half foot, two-faced clock, in classic black and gold trimmed art regency style, to commemorate our 100th Anniversary.   The unveiling was attended by Town Selectmen, civic leaders, Rotarians, and locals.  The dedication was held precisely on the 100th-anniversary date of May 11. We are grateful to have received incredible feedback and goodwill from Marbleheaders!  Here's to another 100 years of service.

Posing before the clock are from left to right:  Police Chief Denis King; Thatcher Kezer, Marblehead Town Administrator; Jack Attridge, Town Moderator; Moses Grader, Selectmen; Nancy Gwin, Rotary President; Alexander Falk, District Governor and Marblehead Rotarian; Pooja Singla, District Governor Nominee Elect, and Jim Nye, President & CEO of National Grand Bank, Marblehead.
New Video Library

We now have a new video library on our district website that contains a collection of all recent webinar and event recordings as well as training content from the most recent couple of years. Please feel free to refer to this library often and utilize the content during your club meetings or for training new members.

There are also links from the various district committee pages on this website to the respective section of the video library that is relevant to those committees. We will be expanding the library as more video recordings are being made available going forward.

The following directory can be used to directly access a particular section in the video library:

Lynn Rotary and Reading Coop Sponsor Special Games
On May 9, 2023, Lynn Rotary again co-sponsored, with the Reading Cooperative Bank, the Special Games for special education students of Lynn Public schools.  Many Rotarians and dignitaries attended the games; they all greeted the Lynn Police who ran from the police station (about 1.5 miles) to Manning Bowl.  After everyone sang the National Anthem, the police followed a color guard and led the students around the oval ¼ mile track before the official start of the games.  The students passed through a “Lane of Honor” consisting of Rotarians, Reading Cooperative Bank volunteers, Police, dignitaries, School Officials, Firemen and others.  The students, many of whom carried the banner of their school, marched in procession prior to the start of the games, smiling and welcoming the applause for them.  Ms. Julie Thurlow, President and CEO of Reading Cooperative Bank gave the official start to the games with a “Let the Games Begin” shout-out!
