Panel discussion and information on Annual Giving, Paul Harris Society, Endowment Fund, Polio Challenge will be presented, giving you incite on how to access reports for your clubs, how to utilize TRF Direct, what it takes to become a Paul Harris Society member, Benefactor, and/or Bequest Society member, how to use the Endowment Fund for your own financial planning, get update on Polio world-wide and also about our annual Polar Plunge.
These two sessions will be given twice so you can attend both and gets lots of knowledge to bring back to your clubs.

Join us on 23 October for our third annual World Polio Day event. We’ll be streaming live from New York City, so tune in at 6:30 p.m. Eastern Time to watch a global status update on the fight to end polio and take part in the conversation.
Time magazine Senior Editor Jeffrey Kluger is our moderator, and UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake is a keynote speaker. The webcast features appearances by Emmy Award-winner Archie Panjabi, Grammy Award-winner Angelique Kidjo, actress Kristen Bell, WWE Superstar John Cena, The Doctors co-host Dr. Jennifer Berman, CDC Polio Eradication Branch Chief John Vertefeuille, and other special guests.

Bring the family to the 2nd Annual Winchester Chili Fest presented by Rotary Club of Winchester on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the Winchester Town Hall Auditorium from 4 pm to 8 pm. Come taste and vote for the best chili in Winchester as area restaurants and professional chefs compete. A panel of celebrity judges, including our own District Governor Dave Manzi, will judge the amateur contest. Does a member in your Rotary club have fabulous chili recipe to enter? Enter the amateur contest and you could win $500 for the charity of your choice.
The event is a family friendly event that will include music, food trucks, beer/wine and kids games. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $5 for individuals, $15 for families and $15 for an alcohol wristband. Winchester Town Hall is located at 71 Mount Vernon Street in Winchester. The Wilmington Rotary Club's Annual Auction and Raffle will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the K of C Hall behind St Thomas's Church on Middlesex Avenue Wilmington, MA 01887.
There is a $10,000 Raffle with only 350 tickets sold. Tickets are $100 each and can list up to 10 names.
The prizes are Grand Prize $10,000, two Second Prizes of $1,000 each, two Third Prizes of $500 each and four Fourth Prizes of $250 each.
There is a free buffet and cash bar available.

Come and see how the Malden Rotary Club honors its Public Service Professionals. Malden Rotary will be hosting is 6th Annual Service Above Self Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Anthon’s of Malden. Program begins at 5:30pm.
For the past five years Malden Rotary has been honoring it public service professionals for their Service Above Self. Malden Rotary honors a Police Officer, Fireman, Emergency Management Services Team Member, an Officer from the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office and an EMT from Cataldo Ambulance. Malden Rotary has also presented Paul Harris Fellowships to members of the Malden Community for their service.
This year for the first time Malden Rotary will be including a Service Above Self Award to a Hallmark Health employee and to the Educator of the Year from the Malden School System. A Paul Harris Fellowship will also be presented to a well-known public figure in Malden but we cannot release their name prior to the Ceremony.
The recently integrated club of Belle Isle, which resulted from a merger in July of the Rotary Clubs of East Boston-Revere and Winthrop has wasted no time to integrate their past traditions into the new club!
For nearly ten years, the Rotary Club of East Boston-Revere venture onto the high seas once a month in lieu of our weekly lunch meeting during the summer months for food, fun, and fellowship. In early October, the Club had one last trip of the season and they we were joined by Governor David Manzi for a beautiful evening! The monthly boat trips started as a way to establish camaraderie between the Rotary Clubs of East Boston and Revere when they merged in 2006.
Another tradition is marching in the Revere Columbus Day parade! We picked up where we left off along with our community service vehicle and marched in the Revere Columbus Day Parade -- as for one day we were all Italian!
We have had a great time visiting clubs! To meet new Rotarians, new friends and to hear about all of the exciting things clubs have planned for events is really special.
We are winding down our “official visits” but for me – I am looking forward to attending more meetings throughout our great district.
I know how hard our Assistant Governors and Committee Chairs are working to make this year a success and I thank each and every Rotarian for their commitment, support and dedication for Rotary!
On September 22, President Deborah Andrews and the Newburyport Rotary Club welcomed us to a fantastic meeting. I would recommend that everyone should visit this beautiful town and enjoy lunch or dinner at Andiamo restaurant where Newburyport Rotary meets. The food is absolutely incredible! However, when you visit Newburyport, you will witness the impact of this club throughout the town. Newburyport Rotary IS Community service!
That was a short week for us to visit clubs. The Zone Institute, which was led by RI Director Julia Phelps and Newburyport Rotary’s own and PDG Liz Cullen was a great event. I am sure you read all about it in last week’s e-Bulletin.
