Foundation Dinner Inspires
The Foundation Dinner at Andover Country Club was an amazing event.

Massachusetts First Lady Lauren Baker told us about the needs of thousands of children served by the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, and how the non-profit organization Wonderfund helps meet some of those needs.  Then, we heard from Micaila Britto, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who suffered severe injuries in the line of duty, about her experiences with her new service dog, Rabbit, gifted to her by donations from several D7930 clubs and individuals and District Foundation monies.  Rabbit took center stage and charmed everyone in the room.

Finally, several local "Unsung Heroes" were honored with Paul Harris medals. Each hero has an inspiring story that reminded all of us of the importance of Service Above Self.

Thank you to the planning committee, the dinner attendees and, in particular, the community heroes honored at the dinner.
