Congrats to PEs on Participating in NEPELS
Huge shout out to all our Presidents-Elect (PEs) who spent this weekend at NEPELS (President Elect Learning Seminar) in Framingham learning, sharing and getting pumped up for the coming Rotary year under the leadership of District Governor Elect Terry Curran.  Rotary is a membership organization that provides community service and we are indebted to our Club leaders for set the course.

Additional kudos to all of our Assistant Governors and PELS Facilitators who are invaluable resources to the Clubs of our District.

Please ask your Club PEs to share with you their experiences at PELS.  And remember to share your pictures and stories here, with your local news outlets and on social media!

Invite RYLA Speaker to Your Meeting
Applications for this year's RYLA are officially live and can be found here!  Visit the D7930 RYLA page for information and the RYLA Linktree.  The RYLA Team would love to visit your club to talk about this awesome youth program.

RYLA 2026 will be May 15th-17th at Camp Rotary in Boxford, MA. We are so excited to connect with this year's rising leaders and have a committed group of returning students to help lead the weekend.

As you begin to think about who you can invite to apply for this life-changing experience, remember that the impact of RYLA extends far beyond the weekend itself. It's an opportunity for young leaders to grow, connect, and inspire one another, and we can't wait to see who will join us this year!

Rotary Club of Woburn Welcomes Connor's Kindness Project
At a recent meeting, our guest speaker was Sharon Marrama from Connor's Kindness Project. The project was founded by her 12-year-old grandson during the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a challenging time for a lot of children and Connor wanted some way to give back. Kindness Kits consist of hand-delivered boxes of carefully thought-out items, meant to be entertaining and comforting for children in challenging situations. The project reminds us that there is good in the world even at times when we are faced with conflicts and challenges. The ongoing goal is to help others while also spreading positivity, one act of kindness at a time. Over 16,000 kits have been delivered to date.

Winchester Volunteers at Boston Food Bank
This past weekend, members of the Winchester Rotary volunteered at the Greater Boston Food Bank, sorting and packing food for families across Eastern Massachusetts facing food insecurity.

It was a meaningful reminder of how a few hours of service can make a real difference for our neighbors in need.
We’re proud to support the Food Bank’s important work and grateful to our members who continue to put Service Above Self into action.
