Nominations for District Governor for 2025-26 are Now Being Accepted
This important individual leads and supports the clubs in D7930 by inspiring and motivating them to Do Good in the World! All clubs are encouraged to propose suitable candidates who meet the qualifications to serve. One of these requirements is that at the time of taking office, they must have been a past president of a club, completed seven years of membership in one or more clubs, and to have attended governors-elect training seminar and International Assembly. If you feel that your club has such a leader among your members, please consider nominating them to help fulfill Rotary's ongoing missions.

Deadline to submit nominations: October 15, 2022.

Empowered Women in Rotary
Jennifer Jones has inspired women all over the Rotary world.  How are you impacted by seeing a woman Rotary International President?  Why are you proud there are more females in Rotary leadership?  We would like to highlight the women of Rotary District 7930.  If you'd like to participate, please email us your answer and a photo to rotary7930publicimage@gmail.com for possible inclusion in our social media campaign, website, and e-bulletin.

A Happy Get Together
Recently at the luncheon at the Boston Yacht Club, the team of Marblehead Rotary Service Dog Project and its partner, Chelsea Rotary's Maureen Foley (1st row, third left), welcomed the Bachours family: Gabriel (fourth left), his mother, Angelica (seated second from left), younger brother Simon (third row).  After a hiatus of two years because of the pandemic, the membership finally met the family's service dog rockstar, Kacey, the dependable black Labrador and companion to Gabriel.  Marblehead Rotary and Chelsea Rotary clubs pulled together their resources to fundraise for NEADS on behalf of Gabriel.  The 40-year-old charitable organization, NEADS, offers a wide range of Service Dogs and Assistance Dogs to meet the needs of people with a variety of disabilities or hearing loss.  It was a lively visit tempering the summer heat into an enjoyable occasion!
Your Foundation Dollars at Work in Ukraine
Our district has applied for a 25K Disaster Response Grant to provide shelter for internally displaced peoples in Ukraine.  This grant will provide beds, mattresses, and other items needed to provide housing.  The grant is in conjunction with the Rotary Club of Kyiv International.  Your generous support of our Foundation's Annual Fund allows grants like these to help support those in need.  Please continue to give!!!
