We Urgently Need Help to Support Philippines Mission
There are two ways you can support our upcoming Rotaplast Mission to Cebu in March.

ONE:  You can make a personal donation or encourage your club’s Board of Directors financially to support our Mission. Checks can be sent to our Rotaplast Treasurer payable for Rotaplast:  Eagle Bank, Attn: Stephen Miliotis, 350 Broadway, Everett, MA 02151.

TWO: You can sign up to volunteer on this mission as we still have a few open positions available.  The mission departs from Boston to San Francisco on March 8 and returns to San Francisco on March 23.  You must travel with the group on this portion of the trip so that the equipment boxes can be counted as your second piece of luggage. This is done as a group booking through Rotaplast and will cost approximately $1,200.

For more information on the event and for ways to donate, contact Mission Chair, Terry Rezendes Curran at terrycurran7930@gmail.com.

Celebrate Tradition at Annual Football Lunch
The annual joint lunch hosted by the Woburn and Winchester clubs brought the clubs together in anticipation of the 133rd Thanksgiving High School Football game. With the historic rivalry tied, excitement is at an all-time high. This cherished tradition featured captains, cheerleaders, and coaches from both schools. They joined us for a festive Thanksgiving feast to honor their teams and celebrate the spirit of competition and camaraderie.
Reading Completes Snack Shack Season
How do you spend your Friday nights this fall?  Reading Rotarians are busy running the Snack Shack for Friday night high school football games at Reading Memorial High School.  Since 2015, Reading Rotary has run the Shack, selling burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, popcorn, candy and hot and cold drinks to the crowd.

Reading High's Shack Shack had been operated by the Reading Boosters Club but as their numbers dwindled, the Town of Reading asked Rotary to take on its operation.  The Shack provides opportunities as both a public service and a fundraiser.

Running the Shack Shack at such crowded sporting events also allows Rotary to highlight our presence in the community and to publicize Rotary’s mission.  Rotary has signage and informational literature displayed at each Snack Shack game.

This season has included six home games under the lights so far. On this night, our Global Scholar Annalena came out to join the fun and lend a hand.

Share Your Rotary Stories
Has your club recently hosted an event or project or are you planning something in the near future that you would like to share with your fellow District 7930 Rotarians?

The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin. Stories that showcase your club or event should be submitted via the website portal at this link.  Your club's successes and events can give inspiration to other Rotarians.

The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.

For some guidelines on creating stories, please read more!
