IMPORTANT PLUNGE INFO

 

Rotary District 7930 Polar Plunge
Saturday, February 3, 2018
Please arrive by 10:15am
Plunge time is 11:00am

 
WHAT TO BRING
When you arrive at the Cape Ann Motor Inn/Long Beach, please immediately go to the Registration Trailer in the parking lot.
  1. Donations to be sent in to The Rotary Foundation
  2. Towels, dry socks, etc.
  3. Friends and Cheerleaders!
 
PARKING & SHUTTLE BUS
Park in the Good Harbor Beach parking lot (73-91 Thatcher Road, Gloucester). Free shuttle buses to Long Beach will be available from 10am to 12pm.  Please give yourself adequate time to take the shuttle from Good Harbor to Long Beach.  
 
REGISTRATION
When you arrive at the Cape Ann Motor Inn/Long Beach, please immediately go to the Registration Trailer in the parking lot.
  1. Check in 
  2. Confirm Waiver Status
  3. Get Ticket for T-shirt (only 1 per person – no team pickups)
  4. Get T-shirt
  5. Grab a Snack & Coffee/Hot Chocolate and Prepare to Plunge
FOOD AND SNACKS
There will be free coffee, hot chocolate, and breakfast baked goods served by the Gloucester Interact and Rotary members in the trailer.
 
WAIVERS FOR PLUNGERS 
Waivers are required for all plungers.  All plungers under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a parent/guardian. Download a waiver here.
 
IN AN EMERGENCY
First responders will be on-hand in case of an emergency. If you have any concern about plunging, please consult your doctor first.
 
WATCHING FROM HOME
Let your friends and family know they can watch you from home!
