This event will take place at the beautiful Salem Waterfront Hotel & Suites, offering an ideal setting for this special occasion.

If you'd like to spend an overnight, the hotel is offering special rates.

Join us on May 16th for our first annual Rotary Day of Giving. Clubs across the district will come together to package thousands of meals for families in need. You do not want to miss this!

 

We are adding a fun North vs South showdown at Peabody High School, North location and East Boston High School, South location. Trophy on the line. Bragging rights included. No limit on clubs. Teams of 7-8 per table - all ages welcome!  Sign up details coming soon.

 

Main packing runs 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with a few volunteers at 8:00 AM for setup and a few staying until 12:00 PM for breakdown.

Participation is $1,000 per club. For reference, a $500 sponsorship typically provides about 1,500 meals. Sponsorship recognition will be printed on the meal packaging, offering great visibility. Clubs can fundraise or secure sponsors.  All meals go directly to your club’s chosen community partner.

Promote your Rotary Club’s Public Image.  A strong and vibrant Public Image is one of 2 proven key tactics for successful and growing clubs -- the other is a large number of service projects.  Effective Public Image helps expand your reach and artfully tell compelling stories that demonstrate Rotarians as people of action.   The Public Image Committee’s role is to help clubs to have a robust media and social media strategy, an up-to-date website and an engaging online presence in their local communities.

 

We suggest all clubs engage on social media to boost your Public Image.  Social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) provide streamlined opportunity to get your stories out there.  The various platforms can provide a direct way to push your news to the public.  Here are some tips to think about.

 

How can my club boost our Public Image? 

 

Has your club recently hosted an event or project or are you planning something in the near future that you would like to share with your fellow District 7930 Rotarians?

 

The weekly eBulletin depends on the content provided by clubs, so please submit your stories and we will publish them on the district website and in the next eBulletin. Stories that showcase your club or event should be submitted via the website portal at this link.  Your club's successes and events can give inspiration to other Rotarians.

 

The deadline for submitting items for the weekly District 7930 eBulletin is Friday morning in order to be included in the following Monday's edition.  If the eBulletin being prepared is getting to be too long and the story submitted is not time-sensitive, we may choose to delay including it until the following week.
